Sheila Tallmon is a community-builder, poet, and lifelong advocate for growth through intentional connection. Her career spans decades in the youth development and summer camp world, including leadership at Camp Nor’wester and now the Lake Ballinger Center for seniors. Sheila shares her passion through spoken word poetry that reflects personal reinvention and shared humanity. She holds degrees in English and Outdoor Leadership and brings both heart and humor to her work. Originally from Nebraska, she now lives in Lynnwood, WA with her partner Janie and their cat, Murphy. Sheila finds joy in music, nature, and believing in wonder-filled things—like Sasquatch and psychic energy.
