TEDxSpokane is more than a single-day event, it’s a yearlong community effort powered by passionate, skilled volunteers who help shape the vision, content, and experience of each year’s program.

We’re always looking for thoughtful, committed individuals who want to play an active role in building TEDxSpokane, not just as an attendee, but as part of the team that makes it all happen.

A Year-Long Commitment to Impact

Joining the TEDxSpokane volunteer team means contributing to a working group that meets regularly, collaborates year-round, and helps shape the direction of our local TEDx presence. This is an application-based opportunity intended for individuals who are ready to bring energy, ideas, and follow-through.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds who are passionate about ideas worth spreading and committed to the behind-the-scenes work it takes to bring a TEDx event to life.

We’re especially seeking individuals with experience in:

  • Marketing & communications
  • Graphic design & visual storytelling
  • Legal or nonprofit advisory

Other areas of involvement include speaker curation/ coaching, production planning, fundraising, community engagement, and more. Whether you're an expert in one area or a generalist ready to help wherever needed, we’d love to hear from you.

How It Works

  • Time Commitment: Minimum of 1 year
  • Meetings: Monthly team meetings, with optional subcommittee work as needed
  • Application: All prospective volunteers must apply and may be invited to meet with a team lead before joining
